Our Approach
How LANWEE engineers the answer, from the first review to the qualified design.
- Regulate linearly after the mains transformer instead of switching at high frequency.
- Target ripple below 5 mV and verify it at the connector, not at the regulator output.
- Apply 4000 VAC isolation between mains and secondary to break leakage paths.
- Hold standby consumption near 0.5 W so equipment can be left energised.
- Specify low-noise transformers and shielding to contain stray magnetic fields.
