The Challenge

Audiophile networks carry clock-sensitive audio, and ordinary switches inject switching noise and jitter straight into the signal path. Reviewers hear it before any measurement is published, which is exactly how a promising launch gets a reputation problem.

Our Approach

How LANWEE engineers the answer, from the first review to the qualified design.

  • Isolate the Ethernet PHYs and the clock domain from the noisy switching core.
  • Use an audio-grade TCXO at 0.1 ppm as the reference, with an optional external 10 MHz BNC input.
  • Apply linear regulation on the sensitive rails to keep ripple below 5 mV.
  • Separate data and clock ground returns to break ground loops between components.
  • Listen-test every prototype in real systems — streamers, DACs and active speakers — before freezing the design.

The Solution

What reaches your product range, your installers and your customers.

  • Network switches purpose-built and noise-isolated for audio streaming.
  • Measurably lower jitter and noise floor feeding the DAC.
  • Optional external 10 MHz reference for systems built around a master clock.
  • Silent fanless operation from 0 °C to +65 °C.
  • Enclosures and finishes specified to sit comfortably next to high-end separates.
